Lower Seletar Reservoir

Lower Seletar Reservoir is one of the latest community enhancement project by the Big People (my way of calling the local authorities). It is a great place for family outings. And it is one of our favourite hangouts with the kids! Children will love the water play area. It has a relatively huge fountain and a wet foot reflexology walk which is suitable for babies and toddlers to play in (the water level is between ankle to mid-calf height). You have to touch the black button to activate the fountain. There is no shower facilities in the toilets but low taps are provided for washing of feet so you can actually use that for washing. Bring along a scoop for easy washing. ^_^

There is an exercise corner for the fitness buff. You can also take a romantic stroll along the reservoir. I'm sure it'll be more beautiful during sunset! A walkway extends into the water and there are plenty of seating area for picnics.

Note: Car parking spaces are quite limited though. The nearest MRT station is Khatib and you can walk from there if you enjoy walking.
